On January 28, President Bush signed into law the
National Defense Authorization Act for FY 2008. Section 585(a) of that Act amends the FMLA to provide eligible employees working for covered employers new leave rights related to military service. Because of these amendments, the Department of Labor has published an
insert to its FMLA poster that all employers should add to their compendium of workplace postings.
